Benfield Cottage is at the end of the magnificent High Street just a few doors down from Grevel House, which is the oldest house in Chipping Campden and was built in the 14th century by a wool merchant and has a sundial set in one of the walls.
This self-catering holiday cottage has just one delightful double bedroom with king size bed and en-suite bathroom on the first floor. The bathroom has a bath with hand held shower attachment, toilet and wash hand basin. Downstairs the cosy sitting room has a wood-burning stove, wooden parquet floor, with comfortable sofa and armchair, which leads into and the fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine/dryer gas cooker and breakfast bar.
From the kitchen there is direct access to the terraced patio garden, which makes an excellent venue for those summer-time barbecues.
There is a good range of shops including boulangerie, greengrocer, butcher general store etc, and plenty of excellent places to eat all within a few minutes walk.
Services
Central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included in the rental. Colour TV, DVD player and Hi Fi system in the living room and a basket of logs is provided.
Benfield Cottage is available for either weekly bookings or short breaks.
Prices are from £200.00 for a short 3 night break, or £300 per week to £550 per week depending on the time of year.
